Installation Procedure

1. Install gear (11) and gasket (12). Install nut (10). Tighten nut (10) to a torque of 110 ± 14 N·m (81 ± 10 lb ft).

2. Install Tooling (B). Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to transmission oil pump (8). The weight of transmission oil pump (8) is approximately 33 kg (72 lb). Raise transmission oil pump (8) into position. Install transmission oil pump (8). Install bolts (9) and remove Tooling (B).

3. Install tube assembly (7) and connect line (6). Position resonator assembly (5) and connect hose assembly (4).

4. Slide hose (2) from tube assembly (3) and onto the tube assembly that was previously installed. Tighten clamps (1).

5. Fill the pump drive with oil. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Transmission Oil - (Change)".

End By:

1. Install the rear drive shaft.

2. Raise the guard for the transmission.
