Start By:

  1. Release the hydraulic system pressure.

------ WARNING! ------

Personal injury can result from hot oil.

At operating temperature, the hydraulic oil tank is hot and under pressure. Hot oil can cause burns.

Remove the fill plug only when the engine is stopped, and the fill plug is cool enough to touch with your bare hand.

Do not allow hot oil or components to contact skin.


  1. Drain the hydraulic tank. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic System Oil - Change" for the correct draining and filling procedures.

  2. Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to front panel (1). The weight of front panel (1) is approximately 36 kg (80 lb).

  3. Remove bolt (2) and the washer.

  4. Remove bolts (3) and the washers. Repeat this step for the opposite side of panel (1). Use Tooling (A) and the suitable lifting device in order to remove panel (1).

  5. Disconnect hose assembly (4). Remove pre-cleaner (5). Repeat this step for the opposite side of the machine.

  6. Use two people in order to remove panel assembly (6). The weight of panel assembly (6) is approximately 27 kg (60 lb).

  7. Remove panel assembly (7).

  8. Remove panel assembly (8).

  9. Remove door assemblies (10). Remove panel assembly (9).

  10. Remove hose (12) and tube (11). Repeat this step for the opposite side of the machine.

  11. Remove panel assembly (13).

  12. Disconnect harness assemblies (14). Remove clip (15) and set harness assemblies (14) out of the way.

  13. Remove one bolt (16) from each side of the machine. Replace the one bolt (16) with Tooling (B). Remove the remaining bolt (16) on each side of the machine.

  14. Slide coolant tank (17) out on Tooling (B).

  15. Remove clip (18).

  16. Open door assemblies (19).

  17. Remove dust seal (20) and panel assembly (21).

  18. Remove dust seal (22) and panel assembly (23).

  19. Remove step assembly (24).

  20. Disconnect harness assemblies (25).

  21. Disconnect hose assemblies (26). Remove clip (27).

  25. Remove manifold (31).

  26. Remove clip (32). Remove sensor (33).

  27. Remove tube assembly (34). Repeat this step for the opposite side of the machine.

  28. Remove panel (35) from above the right side wheel.

  29. Disconnect hose assembly (36) from under the hydraulic tank.

  30. Remove bolts (37). Repeat this step for the opposite side of the machine.

  31. Attach Tooling (C) and a suitable lifting device to hydraulic tank (38). The weight of hydraulic tank (38) is approximately 726 kg (1600 lb).

  32. Use Tooling (C) and the suitable lifting device in order to remove hydraulic tank (38).

  33. Remove air cleaner (39). Repeat this step for the opposite side of hydraulic tank (38).
