Usage:
All 3500 Series Engines Using 8N7717 Expansion Tank, Except Standby Generator Sets In Optimized Building Services Applications
Description of Change: A new water level switch is now used on the 8N7717 Expansion Tank Group on 3500 Series Engines except on those generator set engines in optimized building services applications. The float shaft in the new switch has less friction in the seal and is less likely to stick.
Adaptable To: The new 2N9768 Switch can be used as a direct replacement for the 7W2296 Switch Assembly on the 8N7717 Expansion Tank Groups, except on the generator set engines in optimized building services. The 7W2296 Switch Assembly is still serviced.
