(1) Lubricate the bore lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed.
(2) Apply 4C-5300 Gasket Sealant to the edge of the transfer gear case.
Note: Make a continuous bead along the edge of the transfer case. Remove excess or spilled sealant.
(3) Tighten the 176-0184 Drain Plug As to the following torque. ... 105 ± 10 N·m (77 ± 7 lb ft)
