Description of Change: Two new plates are welded on the top of the equalizer bar to control the oscillation angle. The reduced oscillation angle will eliminate any interference between track shoes and cab mounting bolts.
Adaptable To: The improvement on the 6Y-4316 Equalizer Bar Gp is effective in production with the machines C6G1523-UP and P6G1338-UP.
The below procedure is adaptable to the machines C6G1-1522 and P6G1-1337.
Use the following procedure to fabricate and weld the new plates on the equalizer bar:
- Fabricate the plates (1), refer to Illustration 1 for dimensions.

- Weld the fabricated plates (1) on the surface of the equalizer bar assembly (2) to the dimensions that are shown in Illustration 2.
