The Machine Control ECM is located behind the operator seat under the appearance cover on the lower right side of the cab.

The two power control ECMs are mounted on the front of the Power Inverter. The cab must be in the raised position in order to access the Generator ECM and the Motor ECM.

(9) CH-C2 Lower 70 contact connector (Machine ECM circuits)

Most of the Machine ECM and Implement ECM circuits pass through the lower right-hand cab wall in two 70 contact bulkhead connectors.

The lower CH-C2 bulkhead connector connects many circuits from the "CH" machine wiring harness that is outside of the cab to the "C-C1" harness connector for Machine ECM circuits inside of the cab.

The upper CH-C10 bulkhead connector connects several circuits from the "CH" machine wiring harness that is outside of the cab to the "RH-C6" harness connector for the Implement ECM circuits inside of the cab.

When troubleshooting an ECM circuit, the bulkhead connectors provide a good check point to help isolate the location of the problem.

Most of the machine harness connectors that are not shown here are located in the general area of the components that are being connected. The Electrical System Schematic for your machine calls out the locations of all of the connectors that are used in the machine harnesses.

The following information is a guide to reading the component location tables on the back of the Electrical System Schematic.

  • The "Component Location" table uses white circles or light gray circles in order to mark the locations in the profile of the machine and in the area views. Alphabetical letters in the "Machine Location" column indicate a general area of the machine. Refer to the corresponding footnote at the end of the table for a description of the location.
