Start By:

  1. Connect the steering frame lock.

  2. Release the hydraulic system pressure.

------ WARNING! ------

Fuel leaked or spilled onto hot surfaces or electrical components can cause a fire. To help prevent possible injury, turn the start switch off when changing fuel filters or water separator elements. Clean up fuel spills immediately.


  1. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Fuel Tank Water and Sediment - Drain" and Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Capacities (Refill)" for the correct draining and filling procedures.

  2. Remove covers (1).

  3. Disconnect hose assemblies (3) and hose (4). Disconnect harness clips (5) from left side fuel tank (2).

  4. Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to left side fuel tank (2). The weight of left side fuel tank (2) is approximately 125 kg (275 lb).

  5. Remove four bolts (6) and left side fuel tank (2).

Installation Procedure

  1. Install left side fuel tank (2) in the reverse order of the removal procedure.
