A New Procedure Is Now Available For Installing A Wiring Harness On The 657G Wheel Tractor-Scraper {1408, 1901, 7406, 7451}

A new procedure is now available for installing a wiring harness on the 657G Wheel Tractor-Scraper. The new 313-7454 Wiring Harness (JUMPER) is used to incorporate a solution for the rear surge in the engine that is caused by the back up alarm that is connected to a production harness. The Special Instruction, REHS5178, "Procedure to Install Wiring Harness in Order to Correct Rear Engine RPM Surge on the 657G Wheel Tractor-Scraper" provides the necessary instructions for installing the harness.
