(2) Lubricate the sealing lip of the buffer seal lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed.
(3) Lubricate the sealing lip of the U-cup seal lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed.
(4) Lubricate the sealing lip of the lip type seal lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed.
(5) Before assembly, apply 4C-4032 Bearing Mount Compound to the seal groove.

Note: Before assembly, lubricate the threads of the piston (7) with clean lubricant.

(8) Before assembly, apply Loctite 51580 to the bottom of connector plate.
(B) Bore of the hydraulic cylinder ... 130.00 ± 0.10 mm (5.118 ± 0.004 inch)
(C) Diameter of the rod ... 79.930 ± 0.038 mm (3.1468 ± 0.0015 inch)
(D) Bore of the head over four lands ... 80.33 ± 0.03 mm (3.163 ± 0.001 inch)
(9) Torque for the socket setscrew ... 25 ± 3 N·m (221 ± 27 lb in)
Note: Apply 4C-4030 Thread Lock Compound to the threads of the socket setscrews (10) .
