Use the following procedure in order to install the fuel injector group:

1. Lubricate seals (5) with clean engine oil. Lubricate the injector bore (8) with clean engine oil.

2. Place the injector into the bore. The pin (4) of the injector fits into the groove (7) of the cylinder head.

3. Place the fuel injector clamp (3) with the label "C9" in the UP position.

4. When the injector hits the bottom of the bore, torque the bolt (2) to standard torque.

5. Lubricate the bore and the nut of the quill assembly with clean engine oil. Also, lubricate the threads in the cylinder head with clean engine oil.

6. Insert the quill assembly (9) completely into the cylinder head. Ensure that the ball (10) of the quill assembly is in line with the slot (12) of the cylinder head.

(11) Torque for the nut of the quill assembly ... 70 ± 3 N·m (50 ± 2 lb ft)
