New Machine And Implement Software Is Now Available {7620}

Track-Type Loader: 953D (S/N: LBP1-UP) 963D (S/N: LCS1-UP)

Description of Change: New machine software and new implement software is available for the machines that are listed above. The new software provides the following improvements:

More pushing power
Faster downhill speeds
Improved bucket movement provides easier operation and a better ability to fine grade.
The implement controls now have three preset levels of sensitivity. "Fine", "Normal", and "Coarse"
The ability to perform a lift operation and a dump operation simultaneously with no contact between the teeth of the bucket and the ground

Note: For example, if the bucket starts flat on the ground, the teeth of the bucket will not hit the ground when the lift operation and the dump operation are performed simultaneously. This is accomplished by raising the engine RPM from 2000 to 2400 during multifunction operations.In order to get the maximum performance of the machine, Caterpillar recommends the installation of the most recent software for each Electronic Control Module (ECM) on the machine. Refer to Table 1 for the latest software for the above listed machines.
