Remove bolts (1) and (2) to remove guard assemblies (3).

Personal injury can result from grease under high pressure.
The adjuster cylinder for the track is under high hydraulic pressure. Grease under high pressure can cause injury.

Do not visually inspect the adjuster to see if grease is released when the valve is opened. Check the rod to see that it moves to the rear into the front support on the track roller frame.

Loosen valve (5) to release the track tension.
Position Tooling (A) into a sprocket segment on the final drive. Start the machine and move the machine backward to loosen the track. Remove Tooling (A).

Move the machine until the center of master link (6) is on the centerline of the final drive.

Position Tooling (B) to the lower section of track assembly (7). Attach Tooling (C) to the lower section of track assembly (7).
Remove bolts (8) and master shoe (9). Lower track assembly (7) to Tooling (B).
