Relief Valve (Torque Converter Outlet) - Remove
Start By:
- Lower the guard for the transmission. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly , "Power Train Guard (Transmission) - Remove".

- Drain the transmission oil to a level that is below relief valve (2) for the torque converter into a suitable container for storage or disposal. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Transmission Oil - Change". Relief valve (2) for the torque converter is located on the front right side of the pump drive. Disconnect harness assembly (3). Remove bolts (1) and relief valve (2).
