背压阀的位置

背压阀连接在转向马达上。 转向马达位于操作台下面。

背压阀用于在超速转向负载条件下使转向马达保持在操作员控制下。 当机器在涉及侧坡路况的条件下工作,且快转履带的牵引力低于慢转履带时,存在超速状况。 这种牵引力降低会导致通过转向齿轮的反馈扭矩尝试以快于转向控制阀需求的速度转动转向马达。

正常左转向期间,机油从转向控制阀流入阀端口 (5) 并经过阀杆 (6) 流向单向阀 (3) 。 机油也会流经油道 (4) ,环绕阀杆 (6) 后经节流孔 (2) 流入腔室 (1) 。 机油打开单向阀 (3) ,然后流过阀杆 (6) ,经油道 (18) 流向马达端口 (16) 。 然后机油流过转向马达,并顺时针转动转向马达。 机油经马达流向马达端口 (15) 。 马达端口 (15) 经油道 (13) 将机油输送至单向阀 (9) 。 机油在单向阀 (9) 处会暂时堵塞,机油压力会升高。 当机油压力达到大约 7000 kPa (1015 psi) 的阈值后,阀杆 (6) 移向右侧。 此时,油道 (13) 中的机油流过油道 (12) ,经阀杆 (6) 流向阀端口 (7) 和油箱。

随着阀杆 (6) 移向右侧,腔室 (11) 中的机油经节流孔 (10) 输送至油道 (8) 。 然后,机油经阀端口 (7) 流向油箱。 一旦阀杆 (6) 移动大约 2 mm (.08 in),腔室 (11) 中的机油会直接经油道 (8) 和阀端口 (7) 流向油箱,从而允许阀杆加快移向右侧。

超速状态期间,经转向齿轮而来的反馈扭矩尝试以快于所需速度的速度转动转向马达。 此反馈会导致背压阀进口侧上的压力降低(阀端口 (5) 、油道 (18) 和马达端口 (16) )。 当进口压力降至低于阈值压力时,阀杆 (6) 移向左侧。 经过背压阀出口侧(马达端口 (15) 、油道 (13) 和阀端口 (7) )的油流受阻。 受阻的油流会抵消驱动转向马达的反馈扭矩。 此时,转向马达速度维持在接近转向控制阀要求的速度。

交叉安全阀 (14) 和 (17) 可避免压力升高(峰值)损坏转向系统。 这些阀是先导控制的安全阀,开启压力大约为 41500 kPa (6000 psi)。 当交叉安全阀打开时,阀会将机油输送到对面的马达端口。
