Description of Change: A new oil ring is used on pistons for all 3500 Series Engines. The new ring has a variably-spaced coil spring expander and a latch pin. The coil spring and latch pin design eliminates expander overlapping which often causes rings to break during installation.
Adaptable As: The new 7W2221 Piston Oil Regulating Ring is a direct replacement for the former 8N1442 Piston Ring which is canceled.
