Start By:
- Remove the hood. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hood - Remove and Install".

Hot engine components can cause injury from burns. Before performing maintenance on the engine, allow the engine and the components to cool. |

- Remove angle (1). Disconnect tube assembly (4) from muffler (3) .

- Remove bolts (2). Remove bracket assembly (5) .
- Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to muffler (3) .

- Loosen clamp (6). Remove muffler (3). The weight of muffler (3) is approximately 45 kg (100 lb).

- Remove bracket assemblies (7) .

- Install bracket assemblies (7) .

- Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to muffler (3) .

- Install muffler (3). The weight of muffler (3) is approximately 45 kg (100 lb). Tighten clamp (6) .

- Install bracket (5). Install bolts (2) .

- Connect tube assembly (4) to muffler (3). Install angle (1) .
End By: Install the hood. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hood - Remove and Install".
