Fuel Tank Cap and Strainer - Clean
The fuel tank cap is located on the right side of the machine.

- Lift lever (5) and turn the lever counterclockwise until the lever stops. Lift the cap straight up in order to remove the cap.
- Inspect seal (4) for damage. Replace the seal, if necessary.
- Remove screws (1), filter assembly (2), valve (3) and the gaskets.
- Wash the fuel tank cap in a clean, nonflammable solvent.
- Install the new cap filter kit. Install the components in reverse order.
- Remove the strainer from the tank filler opening. Wash the strainer in a clean, nonflammable solvent. Install the strainer.
- Install the fuel tank cap.
