AccuGrade Laser System Caterpillar

This diagnostic code is associated with the calibration of the lift valve and the tilt valve. The calibration parameters have been corrupted.

System Response:

When this diagnostic code occurs, the calibration values will be reset to defaults.

Test Step 1. UPDATE THE FIRMWARE

1. If the firmware version is 1.5 or below, then update the firmware for the display. Refer to Systems Operation, Testing & Adjusting, Troubleshooting, "Module - Flash Program"

Results:

Continue to the next test step.

Test Step 2. RECALIBRATE THE VALVE

1. Restart the valve calibration procedure. Refer to Systems Operation, Troubleshooting, & Testing and Adjusting, "Bank valve - Calibrate"

Expected Result:

Recalibration causes the diagnostic code to become inactive.

Results:

• OK - Calibration causes the diagnostic code to become inactive.

  Repair: Return the machine to normal operation.

  Stop.

• NOT OK - Calibration has not caused the diagnostic code to become inactive.

  Repair: The calibration was not performed correctly. Perform the calibration again. Refer to Systems Operation, Troubleshooting, & Testing and Adjusting, "Bank valve - Calibrate".
