Main Control Valve (Right) (5) Main control valve (right) for the variable displacement piston pump. (7) Relief valve for the variable displacement piston pump. (11) Manifold. |
The main control valve consists of implement control valves (4) and (5) and manifold (11) which separates the two implement control valves. The manifold has three separate passages: a hydraulic tank return line from both main control valves, a supply line from the fixed displacement piston pump to the left implement control valve and a supply line from the variable displacement piston pump to the right implement control valve.
The main control valve (left) consists of the following components: shuttle valve, relief valve (6), the head end line relief valves (lift circuit and tilt circuit), the rod end line relief valves (lift circuit and tilt circuit), the lift main control valve stem, the tilt main control valve stem, the pilot control actuators, solenoids (pilot control actuator), solenoid valve (hydraulic lockout), pressure reducing valve and float valve.
The right implement control valve consists of the following components: relief valve (7), the head end line relief valve (tilt circuit), the lift main control valve stem, the tilt main control valve stem, the pilot control actuators and solenoids (pilot control actuator).

Pump Compartment (8) Fixed displacement piston pump. (9) Variable displacement piston pump. |
The pump compartment is located beneath the access doors in the platform behind the cab.
The oil flow from fixed displacement piston pump (8) only flows through the left side of the main control valve. The oil flow from variable displacement piston pump (9) only flows through the right side of the main control valve. The flow of oil will combine after the oil has passed through the main control valve.
