Rocker Shaft - Disassemble - 3013, 3014 and 3024 Engines
Disassembly Procedure
Start By:
- Remove the rocker shaft and the pushrods. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Rocker Shaft and Pushrod - Remove".

Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life. |
- In order to remove rocker arms (1), rocker arms (2), washers (3), and springs (4) slide rocker shaft (5) from the end of base (7) .
Note: Place an identification mark on each of the components for installation.

- Inspect all of the components from base (7) for wear or for damage. If any of the components are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.
- Inspect O-ring seal (6) for wear or for damage. If the O-ring seal is worn or damaged, use a new part for replacement.
