Melakukan perawatan ini pada saat engine dimatikan. |
Apabila breather karter tidak dirawat secara teratur, breather karter akan menjadi tersumbat. Breather karter yang tersumbat akan menyebabkan tekanan karter menjadi berlebihan yang dapat menyebabkan kebocoran seal crankshaft.
- Lepaskan sangkutan pada kap engine. Angkat kap engine ke atas.
- Kendorkan klem selang (2). Lepaskan hubungan selang keluar (1) dari breather (4) .

- Kendorkan klem untuk breather (3). Lepaskan breather dan seal.
- Cucilah breather dalam larutan pembersih yang tidak mudah terbakar.
Catatan: Lihat pada Buku Petunjuk Pengoperasian dan Perawatan, "Informasi Umum Mengenai Keadaan Bahaya" untuk mengetahui informasi mengenai penampungan tumpahan oli, cairan pendingin dan lain-lain.
- Periksa sealnya. Apabila seal telah rusak, pasang seal yang baru.
- Pasang seal O-ring dan bersihkan breather. Kencangkan klem untuk breather.
- Pasanglah selang pada breather. Kencangkan klem selang.
- Tutup kembali kap engine. Pasang sangkutan pada kap engine.
