Installation Procedure

1. Clean all parts and inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new Caterpillar parts for replacement.

2. Position parking brake chamber (6) to the machine. Install the washers and two nuts (7) that secure parking brake chamber (6) to the machine. Connect hose assembly (5) to parking brake chamber (6) .

3. Align the yoke rod end (3) with parking brake lever (4). Install pin (2) that secures yoke rod end (3) to parking brake lever (4). Install cotter pin (1) that secures pin (2) to yoke rod end (3) and parking brake lever (4) .
