615C Series II Wheel Tractor-Scraper Machine Systems Caterpillar

Installation Procedure

1. Clean all parts and inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new Caterpillar parts for replacement.

2. Install the ejector to the scraper bowl. The ejector weighs 795 kg (1753 lb). Use a hoist to move to the ejector toward the rear of the scraper bowl. Install the ejector guide rollers to the track assembly. Remove the tooling from the ejector.

3. Carefully raise and slowly raise the ejector cylinder. Position the ejector cylinder to the ejector. Use a soft faced hammer to install pin (3) to the ejector. Install bar (2) and two bolts (1) to the ejector. Remove the tooling from the ejector cylinder.
