Removal Procedure

Start By:

1. Remove the elevator. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Elevator - Remove". The information is in this manual.

1. Move the ejector to the front of the scraper bowl.

2. Attach a nylon lifting strap and a hoist to the ejector cylinder. Remove two bolts (1) and bar (2) from the ejector. Use a hammer and a brass rod to remove pin (4) from the ejector. Carefully lower and slowly lower the ejector cylinder to the scraper bowl.

3. Attach a lifting chain and a hoist to the ejector. Move the ejector toward the front of the scraper bowl in order to remove the ejector guide roller from the track assembly. Remove the ejector from the scraper bowl. The ejector weighs 795 kg (1753 lb) .
