(3) Rod assembly for the neutralizer valve
(20) Rod assembly for the service brake valve
(22) Cable assembly for the left pedal
(23) Cable assembly for the service brake pedal
- Adjust rod (3) in order to set the length from pin (2) to pin (14). The length from pin (2) to pin (14) should be equal to 123 mm (4.8 inch).
- Set dimension (A) at 137.2 mm (5.40 inch).
- Adjust screw (9) in lever (15) to Dimension (B). Dimension (B) is equal to 0.5 ± 0.3 mm (.02 ± .01 inch).
- After cable assemblies (22) and (23) are attached, adjust screw (21) in lever (18) to Dimension (C). Dimension (C) is equal to 0.5 ± 0.3 mm (.02 ± .01 inch). Dimension (C) is the gap between screw (21) and lever (17) .
Adjustment of the Roller Switch Assembly for the Stop Lamp
- With the brake valve in the OFF position, bring roller switch (7) into light contact with the surface of the ramp. The brake valve is in the OFF position when stem (10) is fully extended.
- Move bracket (13) by 2.75 mm (.108 inch) toward the ramp. Moving the bracket will depress the roller switch to the OFF position.
