Assembly Procedure

1. Clean all parts and inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new Caterpillar parts for replacement.

2. Pack the roller bearing with 5P-0960 Molybdenum Grease before installation. Install roller bearing (5) to roller shaft (4) .

3. Use Tool (A) , Tool (B) , Tool (C) and a hydraulic press to install the plug and the roller shaft (5) to roller (2) . Install the roller shaft until the roller shaft is seated in the roller.

4. Install retaining ring (3) to roller (2) .

5. Install key (1) to roller assembly (2) .
