Installation Procedure

1. Clean all parts and inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new Caterpillar parts for replacement.

2. Use a soft faced hammer to install roller (6) to ejector (3) .

3. Install nut (5) to roller (6) . Torque the nut to 610 ± 95 N·m (450 ± 70 lb ft) .

4. Remove the cribbing from the ejector.

5. Use a hoist to move the ejector to the rear of the scraper bowl. Install the ejector support rollers into the track assembly.

6. Use a hammer and a brass rod to install pin (4) to ejector (3) .

7. Remove the cribbing from the ejector cylinder. Remove the nylon lifting strap and the hoist from the ejector.

8. Install plate (2) and three bolts (1) to ejector (3) .
