Tire and Rim - Remove
Removal Procedure

- Park the machine on a hard, level surface. Lower the scraper bowl and engage the parking brake. Chock the wheels in order to prevent the machine from moving.
- Install Tool (A) under the frame, as shown.

- Use Tool (A) to raise the rear of the scraper. Install Tooling (B) under the frame in order to support the scraper.

- Remove 14 nuts (1) from rim (2) . Leave two nuts on the rim in order to hold the tire.

- Attach Tool (C) and a lift truck to tire (3) . Remove the two nuts from the rim. Remove tire (3) from the machine. The tire weighs 421 kg (928 lb) .
