Lack Of Spring Stiffness In Pilot Valve May Cause Decreased Prefeel

Usage:

TRACK-TYPE LOADERS963B (9BL1-2670),
973 (86G1-3377) TRACK-TYPE LOADERS

Problem:

There may be comments made regarding the decreased amount of prefeel or that certain operations can be activated too easily due to the decreased amount of prefeel during operation of the pilot control valve.

Solution:

New, stiffer springs may be incorporated into any 127-0860, 127-0861, 127-0862 or 127-0863 Pilot Valve Group. The springs should be implemented in order to increase the amount of prefeel during operation of the pilot control valve when comments are made regarding the above situation(s). Refer to Service Magazine; SEPD0418; August 3, 1998; "Implement Control Pilot Valve Repair Kits Available", for the correct springs for each of the pilot valve groups. Machines with serial numbers after the above ranges will come from the factory with the stiffer springs in the pilot valves.
