Usage:
TRACK-TYPE LOADERS
D3C SERIES III HYSTAT (4KS, 5GS, 4TS),D4C SERIES III HYSTAT (6BS, 8CS, 4LS),
D5C SERIES III HYSTAT (5HS, 7PS, 6CS) SMALL TRACK-TYPE TRACTORS;

939C (6DS) SMALL TRACK-TYPE LOADERS
Problem:
The Speed Hold Control may not disengage. On certain machines, the 1B-8702 Woodruff Key part of the 168-7959 Modification Arrangement was not assembled properly.
Solution:
Use the Speed Hold Control. If the Speed Hold Control does not operate properly, park the machine.
Remove the 163-3300 Cover for the Joystick and Related Controls.
Remove the following from the Speed Hold Control: Nut (1), Washer (2), Washers (3), Spacer (4), Collar (5) and 1B-8702 Woodruff Key (6). See Illustration 1.
Reinstall the parts. Place 1B-8702 Woodruff Key (6) parallel to the shaft and positioned properly. Install the 163-5503 Collar (5) and the remaining parts. Move the Speed Hold Control Lever. Check for any binding. The collar should slide freely over the woodruff key.
