  1. Remove plug (1) and drain the oil from the engine oil filter base into a suitable container for storage or disposal.

  2. Use Tooling (A) to remove oil filter (6).

  3. Disconnect hose assemblies (4) and (5).

  4. Remove bolts (3) that hold the engine oil filter base to the bracket.

  5. Remove engine oil filter base (2).
