Inlet and Exhaust Valve Seat Inserts - Remove and Install
Removal Procedure

Start By:
- Remove intake and exhaust valves.

Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life. |
- Install Tooling (C) in the inlet valve seat inserts and the exhaust valve seat inserts.

- Install Tooling (B) and Tooling (A) in Tooling (C) . Hand tighten Tooling (A) . Tooling (C) will expand below the edge of the valve seat inserts (1) .
- Slide Tooling (B) upward, in order to remove the valve seat inserts (1) .

- Lower the temperature of the new valve seat inserts (1) . Use Tooling (D) to install the valve seat inserts into the cylinder head.
