Usage:
Start By:
a. remove flywheel
b. remove oil pan and oil pan plate
c. remove starter
1. Connect a nylon strap and hoist to pump (1). Remove bolts (2) and remove pump and O-ring. Weight of pump is 34 kg (75 lbs.).
2. Remove bolts (3) and remove mount assemblies from both sides.
3. Remove bolts (4) and remove the gear assemblies.
4. Remove two covers from engine side of flywheel housing. Install tooling (A) and position hoist.
5. Remove bolts (5) and remove the flywheel housing the weight of the housing is 159 kg (350 lbs.).
NOTE: The following steps are for installation of the flywheel housing.
6. Install a new flywheel housing gasket. Install two 1/2" - 13 NC guide bolts, (not shown) in cylinder block. Use tooling (A) and hoist to position flywheel housing and install bolts (5).
NOTE: Tighten bolts (5) in the number sequence illustrated. Torque for the bolts is 100 ± 14 N·m (75 ± 10 lb. ft.).
7. Remove tooling (A) and install the two covers.
8. Install a retainer in each gear. Position gear assemblies in the housing and install bolts (4).
9. Install mount assemblies and install bolts (3) on both sides of flywheel housing. Tighten bolts (3) to a torque of 475 ± 50 N·m (350 ± 40 lb. ft.).
10. Using a nylon strap and hoist, install implement pump (1) and bolts (2).
