Adjustable Spanner Wrench For Screw-On Pistons In Ripper Lift And Blade Tilt Cylinders{0614,5100,5350}

Usage:

D10 Tractors

The 6V197 Adjustable Spanner Wrench is available for use with screw-on pistons in the ripper lift and bulldozer tilt cylinders in D10 Tractors. A 0.75" (18.7 mm) drive torque wrench is used with the adjustable spanner wrench to tighten the pistons to 516 ± 51 lb ft (702 ± 71 N·m). The 6V196 Drive Pins are fastened to the 6V197 Adjustable Spanner Wrench by setscrews and fit into the holes already drilled on the sides of the pistons. The 6V196 Drive Pins are available separately if replacements are needed.

The spanner wrench extends the torque wrench by 3.5" (99 mm). Use the Torque Computer, Form SEHS7150, to find out what the correct torque wrench dial reading is for this length of extension.

The 6V197 Adjustable Spanner Wrench has been specifically made to tighten pistons on the ripper lift and bulldozer tilt cylinder on D10 Tractors. But, since it can be adjusted to a pin span of 1 to 9.50" (24.5 to 241.3 mm), it does have other applications.
