0102-07 Boost Pressure not responding
Conditions Which Generate This Code:
The ECM detects the following conditions:
- Boost pressure is significantly higher than the desired boost pressure.
System Response:
The current to the wastegate solenoid is turned off.
Note: This diagnostic code could cause a permanent derate if this code is logged several times. Factory passwords will be required to restore the engine to full power.
The engine may be derated while this diagnostic code is active. The level of derate depends on the severity of the excessive boost pressure.
This diagnostic code could be caused by a plugged air line for the wastegate. Also, this diagnostic code could indicate tampering with the wastegate.
Test Step 1. Perform the following diagnostic procedure: Wastegate Solenoid - Test
