A new housing is available for the fresh water pump bearings. The new 208-1007 Housing As contains two-piece bearings. These new bearings have an improved life cycle. The new bearings also improve the cleaning of the bearing housing after the bearings are installed. The 188-0450 Sleeve Bearings are the gear end bearings and 188-0449 Sleeve Bearings are the impeller end bearings that are included in the new housing. This housing is included in the 7E-8179 Water Pump Gp and the 7E-3172 Water Pump Gp .
The new housing can be used with the current shaft and seal assemblies. The new bearings can be used as service replacements for the 7E-4353 Sleeve Bearings and the 7E-4354 Sleeve Bearings that are in the former 7E-3176 Water Pump Housing. The bearings should be pressed into the housing to the depths that are shown in the following illustration.
