Description Of Change: Damage to the fuel system can occur if water is allowed to bypass the fuel/water separator and enter the fuel system. Water can bypass the fuel/water separator if the bowl is over full of water.
The new engine software will enhanced protection to the fuel system. The new software will reduce engine power if the fuel/water separator is not drained of water when the Water Separator Full Indicator is displayed. Ensure that the water is drained from the bowl.
Adaptable To: New 502-3887 Engine Software replaces 464-7804 Engine Software.
New 502-3888 Engine Software replaces 478-2747 Engine Software.
