Indicator For Engine Overspeed (1) - This indicator lights when the control module has determined that the engine speed has exceeded the overspeed setpoint. Refer to Systems Operation, "Alarm Operation".
Illustration 3 | g00837273 |
Indicator For Coolant Temperature (2) - This indicator lights when the engine water temperature has risen above the upper limit of the water temperature switch (WTS). Refer to Systems Operation, "Alarm Operation".
Illustration 4 | g00837269 |
Indicator For Oil Pressure (3) - This indicator lights when the engine oil pressure has fallen below the low limit of the engine oil pressure switch (OPS). Refer to Systems Operation, "Alarm Operation".
Illustration 5 | g00837286 |
Indicator For Alarm (4) - This indicator lights when the control module has received any signals that have been programmed to light the indicator for alarm (4). When the indicator for alarm (4) is illuminated, the problem is a warning. When the indicator for alarm (4) is flashing the problem is a shutdown fault. Refer to Systems Operation, "Alarm Operation".
Illustration 6 | g00837261 |
Automatic Start Position (5) - When the engine control switch (ECS) (8) is in the AUTO (5) position, the engine will start automatically when the remote initiate contact is closed. The engine shuts down when the initiating contact is opened. Refer to Systems Operation, "Automatic Operation".
Illustration 7 | g00837263 |
Manual Start Position (7) - When the engine control switch (ECS) (8) is in the MANUAL (7) start position, the engine will start. The engine will run while the ECS (8) remains in this position. Refer to Systems Operation, "Manual Operation".
Illustration 8 | g00837279 |
Indicator For Engine Overcrank (9) - This indicator lights when the engine fails to start after exceeding the limit for cranking. Refer to Systems Operation, "Alarm Operation".
Illustration 9 | g00837281 |
Indicator For Emergency Stop (10) - This indicator lights when the control module has determined that the emergency stop push button has been pressed.
Illustration 10 | g00837220 |
Stop/Reset Position (11) - When the Engine Control Switch (ECS) (8) is in the STOP/RESET (11) position, the fault indicators are reset and the engine shuts down immediately. Refer to Systems Operation, "Manual Operation".
