A new 210-5530 Coupler replaces the former 170-8505 Coupler. The new 210-5530 Coupler can be used with all of the S·O·S sampling ports on Caterpillar machines.
In 2001, some machines were equipped with a 183-7264 Fluid Sampling Valve or with a 183-8652 Fitting Assembly. These valves are rated at 41369 kPa (6000 psi). This rating allows the valves to be used as a pressure sampling port or as an S·O·S sampling port.

Only use the new 210-5530 Coupler with the 183-7264 Fluid Sampling Valve or 183-8652 Fitting Assembly.

Note: If the 170-8505 Coupler is connected to the 183-7264 Fluid Sampling Valve or 183-8652 Fitting Assembly, damage may result. The damage may result in an oil leak.
