A process for Product Support has been established for ordering the Custom Parts that were shipped as part of the 3500 Family and 3600 Family of Engine Packages.
Please provide the following information when you inquire about Custom Parts that were supplied on Custom Engine Packages:
- Engine Model
- Engine Serial Number
- Packaging Arrangement Number
For manufacturer's part numbers, check the Technical Manual that was supplied with the Custom Engine Package.
Procedure to Order Custom Parts
The Caterpillar Dealer should contact the Technical Support Group at Morton Customer Services if the following conditions exist:
- The Custom Part has a Caterpillar part number, and the Dealer cannot place an order for the part.
- Only the manufacturer's part number is known, and the Dealer cannot order the part from the manufacturer.
