Emergency Stopping

Emergency shutoff controls are for EMERGENCY use ONLY. DO NOT use emergency shutoff devices or controls for normal stopping procedure.

Location of the emergency stop button

All of the doors and panels of the rental generator set may be locked during operation. There is a red emergency stop button that is located on the upper rear panel of the unit.

Ensure that any components for the external system that support the engine operation are secured after the engine is stopped.

The emergency stop button is in the OUT position for normal engine operation. Push the emergency stop button. The engine will not start when the button is locked. Turn the button clockwise in order to reset. The air inlet shutoff (if equipped) must also be reset before you can start the engine.

Electronic Control System (ECS)

The ECS can also be used to shut the engine off in an emergency. Move the ECS to the "OFF/RESET" position. The engine will immediately shut off.
