Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids. Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Caterpillar Dealer Service Tool Catalog" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Caterpillar products. Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates. |
- Use Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to install hydraulic tank (15) on the machine. The weight of hydraulic tank (15) is approximately 65 kg (143 lb).

- Install the spacers and bolts (16). Repeat for the other side.

- Remove Tooling (A) and the suitable lifting device.
- Connect hose (14) .

- Connect all necessary hose assemblies (13). Connect clip (12).

- Position harness assembly (5) and connect clip (11). Connect harness assembly (5) and install screws (10) .

- Install all necessary cable straps (9) .

- Position filter assembly (7) and install bolts (8) .

- Connect harness assembly (5) .

- Install bottom guard (4) .

- Use a suitable lifting device to position side door (1) on the machine. The weight of side door (1) is approximately 34 kg (75 lb).

- Install bolts (3) in order to secure side door (1) .
