The Stick and Bucket Cylinders are Improved on Mini Hydraulic Excavators {5457, 5458}

Description of Change: An improvement has been made to the cylinders used on the stick and the bucket of 303CR Mini Hydraulic Excavators. The new cylinders use a retaining nut that has been increased in size in order to improve piston retention.
Adaptable To: Refer to Table 1 for the effectivity of the new part numbers.

The former 203-7172 Bucket Cylinder Gp, 219-0541 Bucket Cylinder Gp and 239-0837 Bucket Cylinder Gp have been cancelled and replaced by the new 281-2932 Bucket Cylinder Gp. The new 281-2932 Bucket Cylinder Gp has a M30 retaining nut. The torque for the retaining nut is 730 ± 35 N·m (540 ± 25 lb ft).
Although the former cylinders are cancelled and replaced by the new cylinders, parts for repair of the former cylinders will continue to be available.
