Cooling System Operation
Engine diesel 3612 dan 3616 dapat menggunakan sistem pendingin sirkuit gabungan atau menggunakan sistem pendingin sirkuit terpisah. Dalam kedua sistem, pompa air dipasangkan di rumah depan dan pompa digerakkan oleh rangkaian penggerak rodagigi depan. Pompa air kanan atas memasok cairan pendingin ke komponen-komponen berikut: blok silinder, kepala silinder dan turbocharger. Pompa air sebelah kiri memasok cairan pendingin ke aftercooler dan oil cooler. Regulator temperatur air menjaga temperatur cairan pendingin ke blok silinder pada tingkat temperatur yang ditentukan.
