The specification for the reusability of intake and exhaust valves has changed. The change has been made to the minimum thickness of the valve lip. The 100-7860 Inlet Valve has a minimum valve lip thickness 2.02 mm (0.080 inch). The 100-7861 Exhaust Valve and the 148-7455 Exhaust Valve have a minimum valve lip thickness 2.11 mm (0.083 inch). Refer to Guideline For Reusable Parts And Salvage Operations, SEBF8034 for the proper procedure of measuring the valve lip thickness.
