Swing bearing (1) is stamped with an "S" on the inner race. Install the bearing with the "S" relative to the carbody and stopper (2) .
(3) Apply 5P-3931 Anti-Seize Compound to the dowel hole before installing the dowel.
(4) Apply 1U-8846 Gasket Sealant between the mating surfaces of the gear group and the upper frame assembly and between the mating surfaces of the gear group and the carbody.
(5) Apply 5P-3931 Anti-Seize Compound to the threads of 14 bolts. Do not apply Anti-Seize Compound to the seats of the bolts or to the spacers.
Torque for 14 bolts ... 900 ± 100 N·m (665 ± 75 lb ft)
(6) Apply 5P-3931 Anti-Seize Compound to the threads of 42 bolts. Do not apply Anti-Seize Compound to the seats of the bolts or to the spacers.
Torque for 42 bolts ... 900 ± 100 N·m (665 ± 75 lb ft)
(7) Torque for one bolt ... 5.4 ± 0.5 N·m (4 ± 1 lb ft)
(8) Apply 9S-3263 Thread Lock Compound to the threads of 12 bolts.
Torque for 12 bolts ... 37 ± 4 N·m (27.3 ± 3.0 lb ft)
(9) Apply 9S-3263 Thread Lock Compound to the threads of two bolts.
Torque for two bolts ... 37 ± 4 N·m (27.3 ± 3.0 lb ft)
(10) Apply 5P-3931 Anti-Seize Compound to the threads of 24 bolts. Do not apply Anti-Seize Compound to the seats of the bolts or to the spacers.
Torque for 24 bolts ... 900 ± 100 N·m (665 ± 75 lb ft)
