A New Cover Assembly Is Available For Preventing the Accumulation of Debris in the Battery Compartment {1401}

The installation of a new cover assembly prevents debris from accumulating in the battery compartment. Use the procedure that follows for the installation of the cover assembly.

The procedure that follows is adaptable to the machines that are listed.

(C) Bolt and washer

  1. Remove two bolts and washers (C) from the circuit breaker panel (B) .

  1. Install cover (3). Use the bolts and washers (B) from Step 1.

  1. Cut a 60 mm (2.4 inch) hole (A) in the bottom plate. Hole (A) is for drain hose (1) .

  1. Use clamp (2) and assemble drain hose (1) to cover (3). Position the drain hose through hole (A) .
