Water Pump - Install
Installation Procedure

Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life. |
- Clean the mating surface of the water pump and the cylinder block.
- Inspect the condition of the O-ring seal. Replace the O-ring seal, if necessary.
- Install the O-ring seal on the water pump.
- Position water pump (9) on the engine. Install four bolts (11) .

- Install oil tube (10) .
- Position pulley (7) on water pump (9) .

- Install bolts (8) and the washers that fasten pulley (7) to water pump (9) .
- Tighten hose clamp (6) .

- Install hose (4) and tighten hose clamp (5) .

- Install hose (2) and tighten hose clamp (3) .
- Install oil filter (1) .

- Fill the cooling system with coolant to the correct level. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Refill Capacities" for the correct level.
End By: Install the belt tensioner. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Belt Tensioner - Remove and Install".
