Fuel System Primary Filter (Water Separator) Element - Replace

Cedera atau bahkan kematian dapat terjadi akibat kelalaian dalam mematuhi prosedur berikut.
Bahan bakar yang bocor atau tertumpah pada permukaan yang panas atau pada komponen listrik dapat menyebabkan kebakaran.
Bersihkan semua kebocoran atau tumpahan bahan bakar. Jangan merokok sambil bekerja pada sistem bahan bakar.

Putar sakelar pemutus hubungan baterai ke posisi OFF atau lepaskan sambungan baterai sewaktu mengganti filter bahan bakar.

PERHATIAN

Jangan mengisi filter bahan bakar dengan solar sebelum memasangkan filter ini. Bahan bakar ini tidak akan difilter dan dapat terkontaminasi. Bahan bakar yang terkontaminasi akan menyebabkan keausan dipercepat terhadap komponen-komponen sistem bahan bakar.

Open the front access door on the left side of the machine.

Turn drain valve (4) counterclockwise in order to open the drain valve. The drain valve is on the bottom of the water separator.

Catatan: Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "General Hazard Information" for information that pertains to containing fluid spillage.

Drain the water and the sediment into a suitable container.
Catatan: Dispose of used fluids according to local regulations.

Close drain valve (4) .

Hold the bottom of water separator element (2) while you loosen collar (3) .

Remove bowl (5) .

Loosen collar (1) .

Remove water separator element (2). Discard water separator element (2) .
Catatan: The water separator element is a cartridge type filter. The filter cannot be reused.

Clean the inside surfaces of the filter head and of the bowl (5) .

Inspect the O-ring on bowl (5). Also inspect the seal on the filter head. Replace these seals if the seals are worn or damaged.

Install a new water separator element. Tighten collar (1) in order to secure the water separator element.

Install bowl (5). Tighten collar (3) .
Catatan: Do not start the engine until all service to the fuel system is complete. For instructions about priming the fuel system, refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Fuel System - Prime".
