Window (Front)

Usage:

307B AFB
Note: The sun visor (if equipped) must be down before the front window is raised. The front window will not lock in the overhead storage position with the sun visor in the raised position.

To provide full ventilation inside the cab, the upper window can be fully opened.

------ WARNING! ------

When opening or closing the windshields, be extra careful to prevent any personal injury. Also, the hydraulic activation control lever must be in the LOCKED position to prevent any possibility of sudden movement of machine due to inadvertent contact with the hydraulic control(s).


Do not change the position of the window until the following items have been done:

  • Park the machine on a level surface.

  • Lower the equipment to the ground.

  • Move the hydraulic activation control lever to the LOCKED position.

  • Stop the engine.

The hydraulic activation control lever is shown in the LOCKED position. For further details on this procedure, refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic Activation Control".

    (1) Grip
    (2) Latch

  1. Hold both grips (1), and push both latches (2) in order to unlatch the window.

  2. Lift the window upward until the window is securely latched in the overhead storage position.

  3. Rotate latch (3) in order to secure the front window.

  4. Reverse Step 1 through Step 3 in order to lower the front window.
